If your account is linked to Play NC you will have to reset your PW from there. If it's not and you haven't recieved an email it is likely you have been hacked and will need to contact support.

This has been bothering me for some time now. We get a large red text almost demanding us to change password, but the prodecure is horribly untransparant.
First: 'reset password': this text gives me the (wrong?) idea that the password will be autimatically reset to the original password (which I forgot). No way I would press such a button. If the purpose is to change the password, than name it: Change password.
Than the combination with the NC shop account: Good to hear this here, but this is way to complicated. In fact I assumed I used a diffferent password for that account, but since it's so long ago I used it, I forgot.

Bottomline: Don't change until the procedure is less complicated: Big button 'Change Password' - next: enter old password, enter new password, confirm new passoword. Ready. That's the way it should be.

Note: If you never use the NC shop its not necessary to change passwords at all, since the 'leak' is there.

No, you have the wrong idea about what the word reset means: dictionary.com: "to set again"

This annoyed me too, I came back to the game after over two years away, and tried to reset my password. It told me that an email would be sent with a new password. Never got that email, and my password was not changed because, luckily for me, I just had to remember a character name, and the password which I thought I couldnt remember was the same.

Have either of you changed the e-mail address linked to your GW account, to a current valid e-mail address?
